The position leads to a PhD in economics, but is open to motivated students with a Masters degree in either economics or mathematics. We seek someone who is enthusiastic about research and brings a strong background in experimental economics, numerical methods and/or economic theory. The project will involve running several choice experiments (online and in the lab) to identify key features that drive the cost of learning. Previous hands-on experience with designing and running experiments is desirable but can be substituted with enthusiasm to learn about these methods.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis, so please don't hesitate to apply or to forward the announcement! For further questions, you can reach me at michele.mueller-itten@unisg.ch.
