[DMANET] Invitation and call for abstracts: 6th IMA–OR Society Conference on Management Mathematics | 29–30 April 2027

Dear colleagues, You are warmly invited to attend the 6th IMA–OR Society Conference on Management Mathematics, taking place on 29–30 April 2027 at The Studio, Manchester, UK. This event will highlight the growing impact of innovative mathematical methods in business analytics, decision-making, optimization and management. It brings together researchers and practitioners to share advances in management mathematics, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. We welcome contributions covering theory, applications, algorithms and software relevant to management science, operational research, business analytics and related disciplines. The programme will feature plenary presentations by leading international experts, themed talks and poster sessions, alongside opportunities for networking. Abstract submissions are welcome for oral and poster presentations. Please submit a 300-word abstract by 31 January 2027, following the instructions on the conference website. Poster contributions from PhD students are particularly encouraged, and a best poster prize sponsored by the Smith Institute will be awarded. Presenters are also encouraged to submit full papers to the IMA Journal of Management Mathematics, with a submission deadline of 30 June 2027. The venue is conveniently located at The Studio in Manchester city centre, a terrific venue only moments away from Manchester Piccadilly (the central train station in Manchester) and with easy access from Manchester airport. For registration, abstract submission and further details, please visit the conference website<https://ima.org.uk/events/conferences/2027/the-6th-conference-on-management-mathematics.html>. Please share this invitation with colleagues and students who may be interested.
