*Submission and publication:* There are two types of submissions:
regular research papers and presentation-only contributions.

*Regular research papers* should be unpublished and contain original
research. They should not exceed 12 pages (excluding references and
appendices) and be prepared using the Springer LNCS guidelines. For
papers reporting experimental results, authors are encouraged to make
their data available with their submission. Accepted regular research
papers will be published in the Springer LNCS proceedings of RP'25.

*Presentation-only contributions* require a short abstract, and should
have a clear relevance with the scope of the conference. We invite
abstracts on recent or upcoming conference papers, or unpublished work.
Neither the paper nor the abstract will be published in the proceedings.

NMR 2025 is part of the 22th International Conference on Principles of
Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR2025), https://kr.org/KR2025/.

NMR is the premier forum for results in the area of nonmonotonic
reasoning. Its aim is to bring together active researchers in this broad
field within knowledge representation and reasoning (KRR), including
belief revision, uncertain reasoning, reasoning about actions, planning,
logic programming, preferences, deontic reasoning, argumentation,
causality, and many other related topics including systems and
applications (see NMR page, https://nmr.krportal.org).

NMR aims to foster connections between the different subareas of
nonmonotonic reasoning and provide a forum for emerging topics. We
especially invite papers on systems and applications, as well as
position papers and papers addressing benchmark issues. The workshop
will be structured by topical sessions fitting to the scopes of accepted
papers.

The workshop will be held in Melbourne, Australia, in November 11-13,
2025. Workshop activities will include invited talks and presentations
of technical papers.

Max Planck Institute for Informatics seeks PhD Students in the Algorithms
and Complexity Department directed by Danupon Nanongkai.

The Algorithms and Complexity Department at the Max Planck Institute for

The increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence techniques in safety-critical systems, employed in real world scenarios, requires the design of reliable, robust, and verifiable methodologies. Artificial Intelligence systems employed in such applications need to provide formal guarantees about their safety, increasing the need for a close interaction between the Artificial Intelligence and Formal Methods scientific communities, and possibly leading to the proposal of novel neurosymbolic approaches.

To witness this increasing need, tools and methodologies integrating Formal Methods and Artificial Intelligence, and more broadly symbolic and sub-symbolic solutions, are getting more and more attention, especially considering the wide-range and pervasive applications of machine and deep learning models.

The workshop is the main official initiative supported by the OVERLAY group. The event aims at establishing a stable, long-term scientific forum on relevant topics connected to the relationships between Artificial Intelligence and Formal Methods, by providing a stimulating environment where researchers can discuss about opportunities and challenges at the border of the two areas.

Important goals of the workshop are (i) to encourage the ongoing interaction between the formal methods and artificial intelligence communities, (ii) to identify innovative tools and methodologies, and (iii) to elicit a discussion on open issues and new challenges.

This year's edition will be held on October 25th or 26th, 2025, as a workshop co-located with ECAI 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Bologna, Italy.

We accept extended abstracts (5 pages + references + appendix) focusing on the interaction between Artificial Intelligence and Formal Methods and on the issue of symbolic/sub-symbolic integration. Presentation of results recently published in other scientific journals or conferences and invited talks will complement the presentations of contributed papers.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

automated reasoning
automated planning and scheduling
controller synthesis
formal specification languages
formal verification
game theory
hybrid and discrete systems
logics in computer science
neuro-symbolic approaches

Contributed papers can present recent results at the border of the two fields, new research directions, challenges and perspectives. Additionally, presentations of results recently published in other scientific journals or conferences are also welcome; however, these will not be included in the proceedings.

We plan to include all contributed papers in the Proceedings of the event, published at CEUR Workshop Proceedings. CEUR WS proceedings are archival proceedings indexed by DBLP and Scopus.

Submitted contributed papers should not exceed five (5) pages plus references and appendix. Authors are asked to use the CEURART LaTeX style, available here: https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip. Authors of accepted papers will have the possibility to extend their submissions for the final camera-ready version to eight (8) pages plus references and appendix. Note that the appendix will not be included in the proceedings and reviewers will consult it at their own discretion. No constraints are present for presentation only papers (submitting either a one page abstract or the already published full paper, highlighting the original venue, is ok).

[DMANET] Reminder: International Workshop on Algorithmic Optimization

Dear friends and colleagues,

the research training group Algorithmic Optimization (ALOP) at Trier University is in its ninth and final year and we are excited to host our last international workshop on algorithmic optimization under the roof of ALOP. After seven successful international workshops and eight autumn schools, this event marks a special opportunity to bring together researchers from across the field and to offer perspectives on its future evolution.

The workshop will feature a dynamic program, including invited plenary talks, contributed talks, an engaging session with elevator pitches, and a lively poster session. Covering the full spectrum of algorithmic optimization, the topics will range from mixed-integer programming to optimization with differential equations, from applications in the energy sector to advancements in machine learning and data science, as well as from foundational theory to cutting-edge algorithmic developments.

Social network analysis is concerned with the study of relationships
between social entities. The recent advances in internet technologies and
social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, have created
outstanding opportunities for individuals to connect, communicate or
comment on issues or events of their interests. Social networks are dynamic
and evolving in nature; they also involve a huge number of users.
Frequently, the information related to a certain concept is distributed
among several servers. This brings numerous challenges to researchers,
particularly in the data mining and machine learning fields. The purpose of
the International Conference on Social Networks Analysis, Management and
Security(SNAMS-2025) is to provide a forum for researchers to present and

GENERAL INFORMATION

* Review Process: All submissions will undergo a single-blind peer
review by the Program Committee. Authors' names and affiliations should
be included in the manuscript.
* Formatting: All submissions must follow the IEEE two-column format
for conference proceedings.
* Presentation and Publication: Accepted Research Papers and Demo
Papers will be published in a supplementary volume of the SRDS
conference proceedings and will be available via the IEEE Digital

AI has shown remarkable capabilities in automating and enhancing various
aspects of cybersecurity. From predictive analytics that anticipate cyber
threats to intelligent systems that detect and mitigate attacks in real
time, AI-driven solutions are becoming indispensable. These technologies
improve the efficiency and effectiveness of security measures and adapt to
the evolving threat landscape, providing robust defense mechanisms against
increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.

Like any other tool or system, AI introduces its own security threats,
which require the development of new security mechanisms to address them.
For instance, prompt injection attacks raise important challenges for Large
Language Models (LLMs), which are increasingly integrated into various
applications in daily life.

Combining researchers and industry professionals at CSNet 2025 allows to

SOFSEM is an annual winter conference devoted to the theory and
practice of computer science. The conference traditionally focuses on

Proceedings and Awards

The proceedings will be published in the subseries ARCoSS (Advanced

Computer Science (LNCS) series of Springer. The Program Committee of

Submission Guidelines

Papers must be submitted electronically through EasyChair.
Submissions should be prepared in accordance with Springer's
Instructions for Authors of LNCS Proceedings, and use either the LaTeX
or the Word templates provided on the publisher's website. The length
must not exceed 12 pages (excluding references).

No prior publication or simultaneous submission to other conferences
or journals are allowed (except preprint repositories such as arXiv or
workshops without formal published proceedings). There is no need to
anonymize the submissions.

in order to provide immediate and unrestricted open access to their
papers. The self-archived arXiv papers should consist of (essentially)
the LNCS proceedings version plus an optional clearly marked appendix.

We are seeking to fill three tenure-track faculty positions at the Escuela
de Ingeniería Informática at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso
(PUCV), Valparaíso, Chile. Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Sciences
(or related fields) or have defended their doctoral thesis by October 1st,
2025. Preferred research areas include, but are not limited to:

Artificial Intelligence

- Data Science
- Software Engineering
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Cybersecurity

We seek dynamic colleagues who will make positive contributions to the
Department's teaching, research, and service efforts. Candidates with
published articles in ISI WoS-indexed journals are highly preferred.

spirit of the Department and the University's aspirations towards equality,
diversity and inclusivity. Thus, we encourage applications from women and
foreign candidates. The salary is commensurate with the candidate's
