The Algorithms and Complexity group ( https://www.irif.fr/en/equipes/algocomp/index ) of IRIF (CNRS and Université Paris Cité), Paris, France ( https://www.irif.fr/en/index ), is seeking excellent candidates for one or more 1- or 2-year postdoctoral positions in classical and quantum computing. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): algorithms, approximation algorithms, online algorithms, streaming algorithms, distributed algorithms, communication complexity, query complexity, circuit complexity, metacomplexity, randomness in computing, computational game theory, cryptography (including post-quantum cryptography), quantum computing, quantum algorithms, and quantum communication. The Algorithm and Complexity group may also have additional topic-specific openings which will be announced separately with separate deadlines, including (but probably not restricted to) a call on the theory of quantum computing, or on communication complexity.
