The postdoctoral researcher will be primarily based at the LIG lab in Grenoble, with regular collaborations and exchanges with the LIRIS lab in Lyon. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline by the start of the position. Knowledge of French is not required, and applications may be submitted in either French or English. The position is expected to start in autumn 2025 or early 2026, with the exact date open to negotiation.
Candidate profile:
* PhD Degree in Computer Science.
* Specialization in Theoretical Computer Science in areas such as online/approximation/randomized/distributed algorithms. Research experience on learning-augmented algorithms will be considered as an asset, but is not a prerequisite.
* Demonstrated capacity to conduct research at the international level.
