4-year PhD Position in Operations Research at Maastricht University

The Operations Research Group at Maastricht University is seeking
applications for a 4-year PhD position.
The OR group is part of the School of Business and Economics and
currently has six faculty members
who conduct research in the areas of:
* Operations Research
* Algorithmic Game Theory,
* Economic Theory,
* Scheduling,
* Combinatorial Optimization, and
* Approximation and Online Algorithms.

We encourage candidates with an MSc or Diploma in Mathematics, Computer
Science or
Operations Research to apply. Background in Discrete or Continuous
Optimization, Theoretical Computer
Science, or Economic and Game Theory is a plus but not mandatory.

The position will be hosted by the NWO-funded project
"Optimal Coordination Mechanisms for Distributed Resource Allocation"
under the supervision of Tobias Harks.

The position is full-time with a four year contract (starting salary
EUR2042 according to the Dutch salary norm).
