I invite you to participate in the celebrations via /your major
contributions/ to IJPR and participation at the conferences organized
with a support of IJPR (APMS 2021 and MIM 2022).
/Review, position and contributed papers are welcome on the most
important topics of production research/.
For regular papers, please note that for IJPR papers, the following
elements are mandatory:
- an exhaustive analysis of production research literature;
- a novel decision aid model for design or management of production
systems and logistics, the model should be explained for a large
audience in production research;
- comparisons with the state of the art;
- discussion on real life applications of the proposed approach in
production systems and logistics;
- managerial insights for decision makers in industry;
- research perspectives.

We will organize a competition on the best review papers on the history
and current challenges of production research. Please do not hesitate to
submit review, survey and state of the art papers.
We will announce soon special issues, especially a special issue with
invited papers by the leaders of our profession, a special issue with
papers by the young talented researchers, and focused special issues on
the major current topics of IJPR: Discrete optimisation and Artificial
intelligence in manufacturing and logistics, IOT in production systems
and supply networks, Big data, Block chains applications, Reconfigurable
and adaptable factory, Cloud manufacturing, Physical Internet,
Resilience and Disruption management, Pricing, applications of
production research for services, etc.
