Call for papers for the 5th Spanish Young Statisticians and Operational
Researchers Meeting (SYSORM) that will be held on November 5, 6, and 7,
2025, at the Instituto de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Sevilla.

All updated information is available on the conference website:
https://www.imus.us.es/congresos/5SYSORM/

The deadline for submitting abstracts is June 1, 2025.

This scientific meeting of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations
Research (SEIO) is organized by and for young researchers. Similar to
previous editions in Santiago de Compostela (2024)
<http://eamo.usc.es/pub/sysorm4/index.html>, Elche (2022)
<https://sysorm.umh.es/>, El Escorial (2019)
and Granada (2017) <https://congresos.ugr.es/sysorm17/>, the goal of the
meeting is to represent and give visibility to the new generations of
excellent researchers in the fields of Statistics and Operations Research,
addressing topics ranging from methodological to applied research and
fostering communication among participants.

As in previous occasions, there will be no parallel sessions, and we will
have four plenary sessions, two international and two national: Christian
P. Robert, Francisco Saldanha, Rosa E. Lillo and María Merino.

With the aim of enhancing the participation of doctoral students and young
doctors, the registration fee includes accommodation, full board, and
various social activities.

If you are a young researcher in Statistics or Operations Research, you
must be at the 5th SYSORM!

We look forward to seeing you in Seville!

Best regards,
The Organizing Committee of the 5th SYSORM
