economics faculty of the University of Siegen (Germany):
Your teaching (4 hours/week) and research should be related to decision
theory. You graduated and received a doctorate in quantitative business
administration / economics, mathematics or computer sciences (with a focus
to business applications). Excellent academic achievements, teaching
experience and didactic skills are being expected. Ideally, you are
experienced in third-party fundraising. Your academic achievements will be
rated on the basis of the quality of your scientific publications in
international journals and/or the VHB Journal Quality List. Excellent
language skills in English complete your profile.
You are willing to closely collaborate with other members of the faculty, to
integrate into the main research on "decentralized organisations", and to
enhance the bachelor's and master's program. Furthermore, you are expected
to constructively participate in the self-administration boards of the
university.
The contract is limited to a period of three years with the chance of being
extended to six years in total after a positive evaluation. Indispensable
requirements for employment are completed university studies, didactical
skills, and excellent skills in scientific work, the latter generally being
proven due to an outstanding PhD thesis.
The university aims at increasing the percentage of women in research and
teaching. Thus, we are looking forward to receiving applications of
qualified women.
Applications of disabled persons are welcome.
Please mail your application as a PDF (curriculum vitae, copies of
certificates, list of publications and courses, grants) to
dekanat@fb5.uni-siegen.de and to erwin.pesch@uni-siegen.de as soon as
possible. The position is open until a suitable candidate has been found.
