Teaching Assistant (Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in, 50% TV-L 13)
is available in the Discrete Mathematics group at Universitaet Hamburg,
Germany. We are looking for a PhD student who is interested in
probabilistic combinatorics and extremal graph theory.
Candidates must hold a Diploma, Master's, or equivalent degree in
mathematics or computer science and have very good knowledge in discrete
mathematics. In addition to research, the position includes a very
limited amount of teaching and for that knowledge of the German language
is required.
The position is offered for 3 years.
The preferred starting date is October 16th, 2010.
Payment will be according to the regulations for scientific employees at
Universitaet Hamburg (0.5 TV-L13).
