For this position, we are seeking candidates for our mobility work with the
Science Foundation Ireland Research Center Lero (
https://www.sfi.ie/sfi-research-centres/lero/). The project seeks to *develop
closed loop strategies, leveraging Distributed Ledger Technology, for the
control of autonomous and connected vehicles.* The work will be aimed at
developing novel tools from nonlinear dynamics, distributed optimization
and AI to design collaborative services within vehicles. The research will
have both a theoretical and applied, hands-on, aspect.
The ideal candidate should have a background in:
1. nonlinear dynamics and complex systems;
2. intelligent transportation;
3. optimization;
4. statistics.
