ICMS Workshop: Analytical and combinatorial methods in quantum information theory
Edinburgh, 9-13 September 2019
Workshop website: https://sites.google.com/view/acqit-venue/home
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Workshop will focus on the mathematical aspects of Quantum Information Theory,
with emphasis on the functional analytic and combinatorial approaches.
It will be based on, and will aim to develop further, the interactions between operator algebras,
graph theory, zero-error quantum information theory and the theory of non-local games.
The workshop will take place at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) in Edinburgh.
The size of the workshop will be limited to 35 participants.
All prospective participants are encouraged to register early at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/G57HO/
before 20 July.
Financial support for attending the event will be available, with PhD students and early career researchers receiving priority.
If you would like to apply for financial support, please indicate this on your registration form,
which in this case has to be received by *20 June 2019*.
See the workshop webpage for further details.
The workshop will feature lectures by the following scientists:
Aida Abiad (Maastricht)
Jop Briet (CWI Amsterdam)
Jason Crann (Carleton)
Gemma de las Cuevas (Innsbruck)
Hamza Fawzi (Cambridge)
Debbie Leung (IQC Waterloo)
Tim Netzer (Innsbruck)

Anna Pappa (UCL)
Vern Paulsen (IQC Waterloo)
Giannicola Scarpa (Madrid)
Antonios Varvitsiotis (Singapore)
Dominic Verdon (Bristol)
Peter Vrana (Copenhagen)
If you wish to present a contributed talk please do submit your title and abstract on the registration form.
We hope to welcome you at ICMS Edinburgh in September 2019!
