[DMANET] Fully funded PhD studentships in mathematics at the Open University

PHD STUDENTSHIPS IN MATHEMATICS & STATISTICS
COMMENCING OCTOBER 2020

Several full-time three-year PhD studentships in mathematics,
statistics, and mathematics education are available, commencing 1
October 2020. Studentships cover full-time fees, include a stipend
(£15,009 per annum in 2019–2020), plus £1250 annual travel allowance.
Self-funded part-time PhD study is also available for some projects.

Various research projects are available, including two projects in
discrete mathematics, on
* well-quasi-order in permutation patterns,
* graph parameters.

Mathematics and Statistics provides a friendly and flexible working
