one of the broad research areas covered by BMS, well represented at the
three research universities of Berlin (Freie Universität,
Humboldt-Universität, Technische Universität). Candidates who completed
their PhD recently or will do so by next September are encouraged to apply.

BMS Dirichlet Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+ and the Berlin Mathematical 
School (BMS) invite applications for the Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship 
starting in Fall 2021. This two-year position is open to promising young 
mathematicians who will have completed their PhD degree by 30 September 
2021 and want to pursue their own research in one of the eight broad 
research areas of mathematics covered by the Berlin Mathematical School. 
The competitive full-time salary includes health insurance. Fellows are 
expected to teach one semester course per year, typically in English at 
the graduate level. Applications from well-qualified individuals, 
especially women, are highly encouraged.

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) is a joint graduate school of the 
mathematics departments of the three major Berlin universities: Freie 
Universität (FU), Humboldt-Universität (HU) and Technische Universität 
(TU). The BMS has been funded under the German "Excellence Initiative" 
since October 2006. Since 2019, it has formed part of the Berlin 
Mathematics Research Center MATH+.

online submission form. You are permitted to submit only one application.
Please note that you will be asked to input the name and email address 
of three recommenders during the online application process.

master's and bachelor's degree certificates only. Detailed transcripts 
are not required.
