[DMANET] One PhD Position in Random Graphs at TU Graz, Austria

One PhD Position in Random Graphs is available at TU Graz, Austria.

A successful candidate will pursue their PhD degree within the FWF
funded Doctoral Program 'Discrete Mathematics' under the supervision of
Univ.-Prof. Mihyun Kang. Research topics include random graphs, random
subgraphs, random graphs on surfaces, random hypergraphs, and random
simplicial complexes.

The position is up to 3 years (starting date: anytime from 1st May 2022
but no later than 1st October 2022). The salary is according to the
standard personnel costs and salaries for FWF projects -- the current
gross salary per month is 2,237.60 Euros (14 times a year). There is
additional funding for participating in conferences. There are no
teaching duties.


Qualifications and condition of employment:
- Strong track record of mathematical studies
- Master's degree in mathematics or theoretical computer science at the
time of employment
