[DMANET] Seeking candidates for PhD in Engineering Program at UARK: TA and RA assistantships available

The Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Arkansas seeks candidates to join its PhD in Engineering program. The research areas of the department include transportation logistics, quality engineering, supply chain management, healthcare systems engineering, and data science. Particularly, Dr. Alan Vazquez seeks for candidates to join his research team on the interface between statistical design of experiments, operations research, and data science. The department has funding to support outstanding candidates through teaching and research assistantships. Each assistantship covers tuition, partially covers health insurance, and provides a stipend of $2,200 per month. The deadline to submit applications for the Fall semester is February 1, 2023, but it could be extended on a case-by-case basis. The application package must include the following items:


1. Statement of purpose
2. Resume
3. Official or unofficial transcript
4. Three letters of recommendation
5. Recent GRE score
