Combinatorial Optimization" organizes a workshop in France: the "POC days",
called JPOC.
The thirteenth edition of the POC Days (JPOC13) will take place in
Clermont-Ferrand between June 28, and June 30, 2023. It is also the
occasion to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of POC days on their
birthplace.
The main objective of the JPOC conferences is to promote polyhedral and
combinatorial optimization techniques in France by creating links between
teams working on polyhedral and combinatorial optimization and related
topics in mathematical optimization, combinatorics and graph theory.
The conference is structured around at least five plenary lectures of 45
minutes, given by internationally renowned researchers, as well as short
talks of 25 minutes.
A summer school, to be held on June 26 and 27, 2023, will precede the
conference, and will be supervised by leading researchers specialized in a
chosen topic. These courses can be used to validate ECTS points of a
doctoral school intended for the training of PhD students.
So, do not hesitate to reserve this last week of June for these beautiful
and rich scientific days in the heart of the volcanic region of Auvergne!
