The recent advances in internet technologies and social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, have created outstanding opportunities for individuals to connect, communicate or comment on issues or events of their interests. Social networks are dynamic and evolving in nature; they also involve a huge number of users. Frequently, the information related to a certain concept is distributed among several servers. This brings numerous challenges to researchers, particularly in the data mining and machine learning fields. SNAMS 2026 aims to investigate the opportunities and in all aspects of Social Networks. In addition, it seeks for novel contributions that help mitigate SNAMS challenges. That is, the objective of SNAMS 2026 is to provide the opportunity for students, scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas, novel results and experience on all aspects of Social Networks. [DMANET] Call for papers: special issue of the Journal of Scheduling on Project Management and Scheduling (deadline december 1st, 2026)
Dear Colleagues, Submissions are open for a special issue of the Journal of Scheduling on Project Management and Scheduling following the PMS 2026 workshop in Toulouse, France from April 14 to 16, 2026. The deadline is December 1st 2026. Papers that were not presented at the workshop are welcome and submissions are open to all the following research topics: - Project Management: network modeling, project scheduling, project scheduling under uncertainty, project risk management and control, multi-project scheduling, resource management, due-date management, applications and software - Machine Scheduling: shop scheduling, parallel machine scheduling, scheduling with additional constraints, machine assignment and scheduling, flexible/robust scheduling, grid scheduling, multicriteria scheduling, applications and software Methodological and theoretical papers related to Operations Research, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models and exact and heuristic algorithms for scheduling problems are welcome.
