[DMANET] 【CFP】WABCT 2026

CALL FOR PAPERS 2026 Workshop on Algorithms, Bioinformatics, and Computation Theory (WABCT 2026) In conjunction with the 2026 International Computer Symposium (ICS 2026) October 29-31, 2026 Taipei, Taiwan Website: https://www.ics2026.ntub.edu.tw/call-for-papers-for-wabct-2026/ ------- SCOPE ------- The 2026 Workshop on Algorithms, Bioinformatics, and Computation Theory (WABCT 2026), in conjunction with the 2026 International Computer Symposium (ICS 2026), will be held at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Taipei, Taiwan, from October 29 to 31, 2026. The International Computer Symposium (ICS), founded in 1973, is a long-established biennial international conference in Taiwan. It provides a forum for researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange research results and practical experiences and to explore emerging trends and applications in computer and information technologies. WABCT 2026 provides a focused international forum for researchers working on algorithms, theoretical computer science, combinatorial optimization, computational biology and bioinformatics, and related areas of computation theory. The workshop welcomes both theoretical contributions and algorithmic research motivated by emerging applications. The proceedings of ICS 2026 are planned as EI-indexed proceedings. A proposal for publication in Springer’s Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series is currently under evaluation. Papers of high quality may also be considered for invitation to special issues of international journals related to the topics of WABCT 2026. -------------------- TOPICS OF INTEREST -------------------- Topics include, but are not limited to: - Algorithms and Data Structures - Algorithmic Game Theory - Approximation Algorithms and Online Algorithms - Automata, Languages, Logic, and Computability - Complexity Theory - Computational Learning Theory and Knowledge Discovery - Cryptography, Reliability and Security, and Database Theory - Computational Biology and Bioinformatics - Computational Algebra, Geometry, and Number Theory - Graph Drawing and Information Visualization - Graph Theory, Communication Networks, and Optimization - Parallel and Distributed Computing - Fault-Tolerant Computing and Fault Diagnosis - Deep Learning Algorithms and Applications ----------------- IMPORTANT DATES ----------------- Full Paper Submission: August 31, 2026 (AoE) Paper Notification: September 30, 2026 Camera-Ready Paper Due: November 15, 2026 Conference Dates: October 29-31, 2026 ------------------------- SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS ------------------------- Authors are invited to submit high-quality manuscripts reporting original and unpublished research related to the topics of the workshop. Simultaneous submission to other conferences or workshops with published proceedings are not allowed. Submissions must be formatted using the Springer LNCS style without altering the prescribed margins or font size. The maximum length of a submission is 12 pages, including references but excluding an optional appendix. Proofs omitted because of space limitations may be included in an appendix, which will be read by the Program Committee at its discretion. The first page of the submission must indicate whether the paper is eligible for the Best Student Paper Award. Submissions that substantially deviate from the formatting and submission requirements may be rejected without consideration of their technical merits. Papers must be submitted electronically through the ICS 2026 EasyChair submission system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ics202601 Authors should select the WABCT 2026 track when submitting their papers. -------- AWARDS -------- Awards will be given for the Best Paper and Best Student Paper. To be eligible for the Best Student Paper Award, at least one author must be a full-time student at the time of submission, and the student author(s) must have made a significant contribution to the work. ------------------------- WORKSHOP PROGRAM CHAIRS ------------------------- Ling-Ju Hung, National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan Ralf Klasing, CNRS and University of Bordeaux, France Chia-Wei Lee, University of Taipei, Taiwan ---------------------------- WORKSHOP PROGRAM COMMITTEE ---------------------------- Matthias Bentert, Universitetet i Bergen, Norway Li-Hsuan Chen, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan Ho-Lin Chen, National Taiwan University, Taiwan Eddie Cheng, Oakland University, USA Hsin-Hung Chou, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan Thomas Erlebach, Durham University, UK Jianxi Fan, Soochow University, China Florent Foucaud, LIMOS – Université Clermont Auvergne, France Wing-Kai Hon, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan Sun-Yuan Hsieh, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan Shang-En Huang, National Taiwan University, Taiwan Sanpawat Kantabutra, Chiang Mai University, Thailand Thierry Lecroq, University of Rouen, France Chuang-Chieh Lin, National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan Tobias Mömke, University of Augsburg, Germany Nils Morawietz, LaBRI, Université de Bordeaux, France Kung-Jui Pai, Ming Chi University of Technology, Taiwan Tomasz Radzik, King’s College London, UK Michael Raskin, LaBRI, University of Bordeaux, CNRS UMR 5800, France Peter Rossmanith, RWTH Aachen University, Germany Meng-Tsung Tsai, Academia Sinica, Taiwan Hung-Lung Wang, National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan Tomoyuki Yamakami, University of Fukui, Japan --------------------- FURTHER INFORMATION --------------------- WABCT 2026: https://www.ics2026.ntub.edu.tw/call-for-papers-for-wabct-2026/ ICS 2026: https://www.ics2026.ntub.edu.tw/ ********************************************************** * * Contributions to be spread via DMANET are submitted to * * DMANET@zpr.uni-koeln.de * * Replies to a message carried on DMANET should NOT be * addressed to DMANET but to the original sender.
