[DMANET] Jobs - Fully funded PhD position at Hamburg University of Technology

*Now Hiring: Research Position in AI & Medical Robotics at TU Hamburg*

Our institute, with a long-standing expertise in AI for medicine, is
seeking motivated researchers to develop and evaluate deep learning
methods for detecting and segmenting laryngeal cancer.
You will work on an interdisciplinary research project, develop
clinically applicable software to support physicians, and contribute to
clinical studies.
Are you passionate about applying deep learning to advance robotic
surgery? Join our interdisciplinary team developing AI-based systems for
guiding robotic surgery, focusing on prostate tumor localization, 3D
surgical visualization, and image processing.

*Your Tasks:*

* Develop and evaluate deep learning methods for tissue and instrument
motion detection
* Implement robot and 3D visualization interfaces for surgical navigation
* Collaborate with clinical partners
* Publish and present research at top international venues


*Your Profile:*

* Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or
related fields
* Strong C++ and Python programming skills
* Expertise in machine learning, medical imaging, and robotics
* Excellent English and scientific writing skills; German a plus
