[DMANET] FAW-AAIM'2012 Call for Papers

Dear colleges,

We apologize for duplicated messages.

[FAW-AAIM'2012 Call for Papers]

The 2012 Joint FAW-AAIM Conference
May 14-16, 2012
Peking University, Beijing, China

In cooperation with SIAM and NSFC, the Sixth International Frontiers of Algorithmics Workshop (FAW 2012) and The Eighth International Conference on Algorithmic Aspects of Information and Management (AAIM 2012) will be jointly held on May 14-16, 2012 at Peking University, Beijing, China.

The Joint Conference will provide a focused forum on current trends of research on algorithms, discrete structures, operation research, combinatorial optimization and their applications, and will bring together international experts at the research frontiers in these areas to exchange ideas and to present significant new results.

The mission of the Joint Conference is to stimulate the various fields for which algorithmics can become a crucial enabler, and to strengthen the ties between the Eastern and Western research communities of algorithmics and applications. There will be a joint proceeding for the conference, and the accepted papers will be put in the FAW or AAIM track according to their contents (with the common understanding that FAW focuses on algorithmics while AAIM
focuses on combinatorial optimization, operation research and management sciences).

Interesting new results in all areas of algorithmics, operation research and combinatorial optimization and their applications are welcome. In addition to theoretical work, we are also interested in results that report on experimental and applied research of general algorithmic interest. Special considerations will be given to algorithmic research that is motivated by realworld applications. Experimental and applied papers are expected to show convincingly the usefulness and efficiency of the target algorithms in practical settings.
