The position is to be filled as soon as possible and is for a fixed term of one year.
An extension up to four years is possible. Regular working hours are 40 hours a week.
The option of undertaking a PhD is provided and will be explicitly supported.
Duties and responsibilities:
Design and analysis of local algorithms for online motion planning problems
like the formation of swarms of mobile robots. For more information,

Profile:
A qualified candidate should be interested in applied interdisciplinary research
and must have a Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
with a focus in a field of Theoretical Computer Science such as Algorithmic Geometry,
Online Algorithms or Distributed Algorithms.
