The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabanci
University is inviting applications for full time or visiting faculty
positions at all levels in the Manufacturing Systems / Industrial
Engineering Program. Applicants should have completed a doctorate in
Industrial Engineering / Operations Research or a related discipline,
and must demonstrate a high potential for excellence in research and
teaching. At least two years of relevant experience in business and/or
academia will be a definite asset. Candidates will be expected to teach
at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates with a strong
background in computer integrated manufacturing and manufacturing
automation are particularly encouraged to apply.
Sabanci University, a privately funded premier academic institution,
started instruction in the 1999-2000 academic year in its new
state-of-the-art campus located in the suburban Istanbul, inland from
the Tuzla coastline. The University offers 12 undergraduate programs and
23 graduate programs in three faculties (Faculty of Engineering and
