1-2 PhD Scholarships within Algorithms and Data Structures

Professor Mikkel Thorup at the Department of Computer Science, University of
Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks applications for a PhD scholarship within
algorithms and data structures with start Fall 2013. The scholar will
participate in a Center for Efficient Algorithms and Data Structures funded
by an Advanced Grant from the Danish Council for Independent Research
starting Fall 2013.

The candidate must have a background within algorithms and theoretical
computer science as demonstrated by graduate level courses and/or project
and thesis work. Publications at relevant conferences such as STOC, FOCS,
SODA, or ESA would be welcome.
