PhD Studentships
Department of Computer Science
Royal Holloway, University of London
Available for October 2013 start
Computer Science is offering the opportunity for exceptional students
to pursue research leading to a PhD with a studentship.
Candidates should submit an application online through
http://www.rhul.ac.uk/studyhere/researchdegrees/applying/
and indicate if they want to be considered for a studentship
(fully or partially funded).
To be considered for a studentship, applications need to be
submitted by February 28, 2013. Please note that you are not
required to have a Masters degree in order to apply.
Information about the Department, including the areas in
which we normally supervise research students,
can be found at
www.rhul.ac.uk/computerscience<http://www.rhul.ac.uk/computerscienc>.
Candidates are welcome (indeed encouraged) to discuss topics with
potential supervisors before submitting their applications.
Note that parameterized algorithmics and its applications is one of the
topics studied in the department and Math Department (by Gregory Gutin,
Magnus Wahlström [who'll joint the Comp. Sci. department later in the
year], Dave Cohen, Jason Crampton, and PhD students).
