The "TELECOM SudParis" institute (located in Evry, south of Paris, France)

invites applications for one PhD position in combinatorial optimization.
The goal of this project, to be carried out in interaction with the optimization
team of TELECOM SudParis, is to address various fundamental optimization
problems arising in graph theory, network design and graph partitioning.
We are looking for an outstanding PhD student with an excellent background
in algorithms and optimization on graphs as well as computer programming
skills. Also, the candidate should have good communications skills in English,
both written and oral.
This 3-year PhD studentship is open to candidates of any nationality, with a
starting date in September or October 2013.

(i) a detailed curriculum vitae (including all courses taken and grades obtained),
(ii) a letter of presentation (including a short description of his/her current
research interests),
