[Mycolleagues] Open Associate Senior Lecturer Position in Computer Networking at Karlstad University

An Associate Senior Lecturer Position in Computer Networking is
available at Karlstad University, Sweden. This is the equivalent of a
tenure-track position in the Swedish system.

The position is connected to the Distributed Systems and Communications
(DISCO) research group within Computer Science. The main duty of the
position is research within the field of computer networking,
specializing in any of the following areas: new evolutional transport
frameworks for the Internet, scalable signaling support for future
mobile systems,software defined networking for access and backhaul
networks, networking aspects of cloud services and applications.

The candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the
research group by carrying out high-quality research, strengthening its
international network and expanding its external funding through
applications for grants at the national and international level. The
duties also include research administration, teaching in computer
networking and related subjects, course administration and development,
course coordination, and supervision of thesis work at graduate and
undergraduate levels.
