2017 EvoApplications Conference.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Colleagues,
we would like to inform you of the forthcoming 14th edition of the
"Application of Nature-inspired Techniques for Communication Networks and
other Parallel and Distributed Systems" (EvoCOMNET), to be held in
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 19 - 21 April 2017 as a part of EvoStar 2017
EvoApplications Conference.
Accepted papers will appear in the proceedings of EvoApplications,
published in a volume of the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science by
Springer.
SCOPE AND TOPICS OF INTEREST
Papers relevant to EvoCOMNET should show the application of Evolutionary
Computation techniques, or of hybrid methods containing evolutionary
issues, to the solution of real-world problems in fields where a network,
be it physical or logical, is present.
Examples of such fields include, among others:
- communication systems
- sensor networks
- wired and wireless telecommunications networks
- graphs
- parallel and distributed optimization algorithms
- network-based computing systems and related management activities
- grid and cloud computing
- transportation
- supply
- logistics
- traffic
- financial network systems
More detailed information, together with a more comprehensive list of
application domains, is available at www.evostar.org
