Einstein Visiting Fellow at TU Berlin (starting at July 1, 2020 / for a period of max. 3 years)
Working field: Research in the Berlin based team of Prof. Weismantel (ETH Zurich)
and Prof. Henk and Prof. Skutella (TU Berlin). The PhD position is funded by Prof. Weismantel's
Einstein Visiting Fellowship „Mixed Integer Programming". The scholarship is 1.468 EUR (tax-free) per month.
Requirements:
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in the area of
mathematical optimization or a related mathematical field. An ideal candidate has solid background in the theory of integer optimization, the geometry of numbers, lattice theory and complexity theory.
