March 19, 2020: The IPDPS 2020 conference leadership decided that the most
prudent measure in response to COVID-19 was to cancel the physical meeting
planned for New Orleans this year. Since then, all of the authors of
accepted
papers for the main conference and the 21 workshops working with conference
organizers have built a Virtual Program of papers and static slide
presentations
that will be conducted the week of the conference.

The decision to cancel the in-person meeting did not impact the
publication of
the IPDPS 2020 proceedings, and IEEE will still be hosting the accepted
authors'
work on Xplore following the conference dates. The 'Virtual' Program now
posted
on the IPDPS website lists all the 21 workshops that are part of the
IPDPS 2020
program. Click on the workshop of interest - Monday workshops at top of
page and
Friday workshops at bottom - and the link will take you to the home
landing page
of the workshop.

The workshop web page provides detailed information regarding papers in the
workshop and any other program material including speakers and events.
Check
individual workshop pages to see what events are planned.

The IPDPS 2020 Virtual Program is available in detail at the IPDPS website
ipdps.org. IPDPS will be holding virtual events to coincide with the
conference
dates of 18-22 May. Participation details will be announced shortly and
included
in the web program. Planned events include:

- Tuesday, May 19: Best paper presentations and Q and A session.
- Wednesday, May 20: Best paper announcement and TCPP public meeting.
- Thursday, May 21: IPDPS Town Hall meeting.

Events on these three days will take place from 9:00 am to 10:00
US Central Daylight Time / 2:00 GMT.

Please check individual workshops for any scheduled events.
