[DMANET] PhD position in "Vehicle routing problem with evidential uncertainty" at Artois University (France).

Dear all,

The university of Artois located in Haut-de-France (France), represented by its "Laboratory of Computer Engineering and Automation of Artois (LGI2A)" is looking for highly motivated candidates for a PhD position (full-time doctoral contract) in the area of Combinatorial Optimization and Logistics, particularly "vehicle routing problem with evidential uncertainty" (please, see the link below for more details).

Applicants must hold a master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field. Knowledge of uncertainty representation would be a plus. Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required, however, French would make life easier in France but not mandatory.

The successful candidate will be a member of the "Laboratory of Computer Engineering and Automation of Artois (LGI2A)" which is specialized in logistics and optimization problems as well as problems of decision making in an uncertain environment and will work under the supervision of Prof Eric Lefevre, Prof Frederic Pichon, and Ass. Prof Sohaib Afifi.

The expected starting date is October 2021.
