[DMANET] 4-year postdoctoral position in parameterised counting/enumeration complexity at the University of Glasgow

We are pleased to announce a postdoctoral position at the University of Glasgow, working with Kitty Meeks on the EPSRC-funded fellowship Beyond One Solution in Combinatorial Optimisation. The position is funded for 48 months, with a flexible start date in the first half of 2022.

Applicants should have (or expect to obtain very soon) a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another closely related area, or else be able to demonstrate equivalent professional qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of at least one of parameterised algorithms, counting/sampling algorithms, and enumeration algorithms. Excellent communication skills and the willingness to engage with researchers in other disciplines are also essential.

The closing date for applications is 30th September 2021, and interviews are expected to be held online in early November. Informal enquiries to Kitty Meeks (kitty.meeks@glasgow.ac.uk<mailto:kitty.meeks@glasgow.ac.uk>) are welcome.
