The research group EDGE of Inria Bordeaux and Université de Bordeaux,
France, focuses on Integer programming and Robust optimization.
EDGE has a vacancy for one full-time postdoctoral researcher in OR
starting in December 2022 (tentative starting date), for a period of one
year. The project covers theoretical and methodological aspects on
robust integer problems, in the specific context of multi-stage
combinatorial optimization under uncertainty, with the opportunity to
design case studies in collaboration with the power production company EDF.
Candidates should have a taste for the modeling of complex decision
processes, as well as good algorithmic and programming skills. A sound
expertise in mathematical programming (solution algorithms,
decomposition methods), and knowledge about robust or stochastic
programming, dynamic programming or energy industry will be appreciated.
