Introduction

1. About AAMAS

AAMAS is the largest and most influential conference in the area of
autonomous agents and multiagent systems, bringing together researchers and
practitioners in all areas of agent technology and providing an
internationally renowned, high-profile forum for publishing and exchanging
ideas about the latest developments in the field. AAMAS is the flagship
conference of the non-profit International Foundation for Autonomous Agents
and Multiagent Systems (IFAAMAS), founded in 2002 (https://www.ifaamas.org
).

In recent years, the conference has attracted over 1000 paper submissions
annually, and accepted about 23% of them as full papers on average. It also
accepts another 20%-ish as short papers. In addition to the main track of
technical papers, the conference program features a rich set of tutorials,
workshops, and competitions. The overall conference takes place over five
days and attracts about 1000 participants, almost half of which are PhD
students and other young researchers.

The AAMAS conference series was initiated in 2002 in Bologna, Italy.
Subsequent AAMAS conferences have been held in Melbourne, Australia (July
2003), New York City, NY, USA (July 2004), Utrecht, The Netherlands (July
2005), Hakodate, Japan (May 2006), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA (May 2007),
Estoril, Portugal (May 2008), Budapest, Hungary (May 2009), Toronto, Canada
(May 2010), Taipei, Taiwan (May 2011), Valencia, Spain (June 2012),
Minnesota, USA (May 2013), Paris, France (May 2014), Istanbul, Turkey (May
2015), Singapore (May 2016), São Paulo (2017) and Stockholm, Sweden (2018),
Montreal (May 2019), Auckland (May 2020, Virtual), London (May 2021,

2. About AAMAS 2025

The 24th International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent
Systems (AAMAS 2025) will be held 19–23 May 2025 in Detroit, Michigan, USA (
https://aamas2025.org/). Known as a hub of creativity, innovation, and
cultural diversity, Detroit offers much more than its iconic automotive
legacy. Attendees will be able to explore the vibrant, walkable downtown,
filled with artistic alleyways, award-winning restaurants, and local
boutiques.

Call for Sponsors

1. Why do we need sponsors?

AAMAS is organized by the non-profit IFAAMAS. The organization costs come
from the registration fees of participants and the sponsorships. The
sponsorships are used in many different ways, including offering free
registrations and travel grants for students who are qualified (especially
from lower-income countries and under-represented groups), awards for best
papers, and venue expenses. Sponsorships enable us to maintain affordable
registration fees and offer a richer conference experience for all
participants.

2. What are the benefits for sponsors?

AI agents are leading the future of AI, especially with the development of
large language models. AAMAS is the best international conference focusing
on this innovative area, and the research in AAMAS also has great potential
to apply in the industry. Therefore, we believe there are mutual benefits
for both academia and industry. Companies and research labs can promote
themselves and attract AAMAS scholars to the industry or build strong
connections with them. Academic researchers and their PhD students can
understand the real-world challenges and industrial needs, and invest more
time in the related knowledge gaps, which empowers the industry.
