The 5th International Triennial Conference and Summer School "Numerical
Computations: Theory and Algorithms" (NUMTA2026) will be held (in hybrid
format) from 21 to 27 June 2026 in Calabria, Italy, at the all-inclusive
beach resort "Falkensteiner Garden Calabria" on the Tyrrhenian coast and
close to the Lamezia Terme international airport.
The Conference is organized by the University of Calabria, Department of
Computer Engineering, Modelling, Electronics and Systems Science. Together
with regular presentations at the Conference there will be the Summer
School offering tutorials and discussion sections covering the topics of
the Conference. Participants at the Summer School can submit either regular
papers or participate at the poster session that will also be organized.
English is the working language both at the Conference and the Summer
School. This is the fifth edition of NUMTA (since 2013); more than 200
researchers from 30 countries around the world attended each of the two
last NUMTA conferences.
Website: https://www.numta.org
Main topics: Numerical analysis, computational models, optimization and
machine learning, and emerging computational paradigms, see complete list
of topics at https://www.numta.org/topics
Confirmed plenary lectures (to be completed): Louis D'Alotto (New York,
USA), Schahram Dustdar (Vienna, Austria), Daniel Krob (Paris, France),
Daniel Kuhn (Lausanne, Switzerland), Yurii Nesterov (Budapest, Hungary),
Panos Pardalos (Gainesville, USA), Davide Rizza (Norwich, UK).
Publications: A book of one-page abstracts will be available on the
conference webpage (the submission system is being defined). Regularly
registered NUMTA participants will also be able to submit their full papers
to the post-conference proceedings, which will be published in a
prestigious series of proceedings (to be defined). Special issues of highly
cited international journals will also be organized.
Information is continuously updated on the conference website
https://www.numta.org where details of the four previous editions (2023,
2019, 2016 and 2013) of the conference are available.
