[DMANET] Mons Theoretical Computer Science Days 2026

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Naples Federico II will host the 20th edition of the Mons Theoretical Computer Science Days from September 7 to 11, 2026.

As in previous years, the event will feature invited talks, as well as selected talks based on submitted abstracts.

SCOPE

The main themes of the conference are:

- Combinatorics and algorithms on words

- Automata and formal languages

- Discrete dynamical systems and symbolic dynamics

- Logic and formal methods

The conference also welcomes other branches of computer science and mathematics related to these fields, such as number theory, computability, semi-groups, tilings, game theory, discrete geometry, bioinformatics.

French and English are the official languages of the conference.

SUBMISSION

Short talks will be selected based on abstracts of up to 4 pages, excluding references. See the webpage of the conference for more details.

At least one author for each selected talk is required to register to the conference.

L'université de Naples Federico II organise la 20e édition des « Journées montoises d'informatique théorique » du 7 au 11 septembre 2026.

Comme lors des précédentes éditions, ces journées proposeront des conférences invitées et des communications sélectionnées sur résumé.


THÈME

Les thèmes principaux de la conférence sont les suivants :

- la combinatoire et l'algorithmique des mots ;

- la théorie des automates et des langages formels ;

- les systèmes dynamiques discrets et la dynamique symbolique ;

- la logique et les méthodes formelles.

Elle s'adresse également aux autres branches de l'informatique et des mathématiques en lien avec ces thèmes (théorie des nombres, calculabilité, semi-groupes, pavages, théorie des jeux, géométrie discrète, bioinformatique, etc.).

Les langues officielles de la conférence sont l'anglais et le français.
