[DMANET] Postdoc Position at Paris 6 University

Open Postdoc Position at Paris 6 University

Applications are invited for one postdoctoral fellow in *Just-in-Time
Scheduling* in the Operations Research Team of the LIP6 at Paris 6
University (http://www.upmc.fr/) to begin on *October 1, 2011*. The
research will be led by Dr. Safia Kedad-Sidhoum and is funded by a
"Google research award" for a year.

The project aims at solving Just-in-Time scheduling problems with
realistic constraints such as sequence-dependent and time-dependent
setup times and soft or hard delivery constraints.

This position is suited for students who have recently completed their
Ph.D in operations reserch, computer science, or discrete mathematics.
The ideal candidate would have expertise in one or more of the areas of
scheduling, combinatorial optimization. Experience with computer
programming (such as C/C++, or Java) is required.

Applicants should provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae and the names
of references. Reference letters can be sent but it is not mandatory.
