[DMANET] Open PhD position in Jena/Germany. (Perfect Xmas gift?)

We are currently offering a DFG-funded full position for a motivated PhD
student in computer science. The planned research is centered around
approximation algorithms for topological network design (think along the
lines of the Steiner tree problem), both in theory and practice.

Our group is located in Jena, a lively German city with ~100.000
inhabitants --- over 25% of whom are students!

For more information see http://www.ae.uni-jena.de or contact me via
email (see below). If you just finished your diploma/MSc (or are in the
process of finishing) in CS, maths, or some related field, please submit
your application per snail or electronic mail by January 6th, including
the usual CV, copies of certificates, and a letter of your advisor.

best regards,
~Markus Chimani
