[Mycolleagues] Tenure track position in Computer Networking focused on New Evolutional Transport Frameworks for the Internet

A tenure track position in Computer Networking focused on New
Evolutional Transport Frameworks for the Internet is available at
Karlstad University, Sweden.

The applicant will initially work in the framework of two new exciting
and closely related research projects: the upcoming EU Horizon 2020
project NEAT (A New, Evolutive API and Transport-Layer Architecture for
the Internet), and the nationally funded research profile HITS (High
Quality Networked Services in a Mobile World).

The NEAT project aims to design, develop and validate a novel transport
architecture and system that allows services to be dynamically tailored
based on application demands, current network conditions, hardware
capabilities or local policies and that supports the integration of new
functionality in an evolutionary fashion. The HITS profile focuses on
the design, implementation and evaluation of novel solutions to support
high quality networked services in an increasingly mobile and dynamic
world, and is run in close collaboration with industry.
