[DMANET] Call for outstanding post docs (not limited by nationalities) in distributed computing and network algorithms

(A different posting recently informed about funding for Chinese and
Indians only; the current call is based on a different funding, not limited
by nationalities)

As in each year, the Technion has some funding for post doc fellowships
for outstanding (there is a competition) candidates. The start time is
October 2018 (but the post docs may arrive somewhat later, up to the end of
February 2019, having coordinated that with the hosts).

An interested candidate needs to be submitted by a sponsoring host (who
covers a part of the fellowship, and will work with the post doc).

There is a group that conducts research on distributed systems and
networking at the Information Systems Group, with the faculty of IE&M at
the Technion in Haifa, Israel. We are interested in sponsoring outstanding
candidates with promising credentials in our areas of research (Distributed
algorithms, network algorithms, game theory for distributed systems,
biologicaly inspired distributed computing, the theory of network
protocols, etc.)

THE DEADLINE FOR AN APPLICATION IS VERY SOON (sorry). If you are interested
to be sponsored by us, please contact us by the end of November. Please
arrange for 3 letters of recommendation, an up to date CV, and a draft for
a research proposal (2 pages) including how you propose to cooperate with
the hosts (this part we shall probably need to finalize together). You will
also need a proof you know enough English, and that you will be graduating
you PhD by the required time.

(You cannot be more than 5 years after PhD and you cannot have received
your PhD from the Technion).
