[DMANET] One PhD Position in Discrete Mathematics at TU Graz

One PhD position is available at the Combinatorics Group

of the Institute of Discrete Mathematics, Graz University of Technology
(TU Graz). A tentative starting date is 1 October 2018.

We are seeking outstanding PhD candidates with interest and experience
in Discrete Mathematics, in particular in random graphs, probabilistic
combinatorics, and analytic combinatorics. The successful PhD candidate
will pursue her/his PhD degree under the supervision of Univ.-Prof.
Mihyun Kang.

Qualifications and condition of employment:
- Strong track record of mathematical studies
- Master's degree in mathematics or theoretical computer science is
required to be employed, but it does not necessarily have to be awarded
at the time of application

Length and Salary:
- PhD position is for 4 years
- A gross monthly salary specified by Universitäten-Kollektivvertrag is
currently € 2.794,60 (14 x per year)
- Teaching duties: about 2 hours per week (as specified by Kollektivvertrag)
