[DMANET] Extended REGISTRATION deadline and Call for Abstract: 4th AIROYoung Workshop

We are happy to inform you that thanks to the generosity of our sponsors we
are able to increase the number of attendees to the 4th AIROYoung
Workshop! Places are still available!

Therefore, the registration has been extended until the 10th of January!

\ WHO
All AIROYoung members, PhD students in Operations Research and related
topics, early-stage Researchers (PhD degree <= 5years) or anyone with a
strong interest in OR (<=35years old).


\ REGISTRATION
The participation to the 4th AIROYoung Workshop is free of charge
Please follow the registration link above to proceed with the registration.
You will be asked to provide some general information and your willingness
to participate to social activities. Confirmation of the registration will
be notified by email.
The workshop will feature sessions in which participants can present their
work.
We will ask you a proof of attendance (= a copy of your travel ticket) by
the *10th January 2020* in order to finalize your registration.

The hosting structure will be the main building of Unibz campus (on site
guidance to conference room will be provided) located in Piazza Università
1.


\ ACCOMODATION
Information on suggested accommodation structures are provided on the
workshop website.


\ ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS - Deadline *10th January 2020*
Abstracts (maximum one page - renamed as SURNAME_NAME_AYWORKSHOP.pdf/docx)
must be sent by the *10th January 2020* to airo.young.researchers@gmail.com
with *"Abstract submission AYWorkshop"* as email's subject. The acceptance
of the Abstract will be notified to the author by email in the following
weeks.

\ PROGRAM (provisional)

*AIROYoung Workshop 5th-7th February 2020*
*Invited speakers*
. Claudia Archetti, at ESSEC Business School, Paris,
. David Pisinger, at DTU, Copenhagen.

*Special sessions: *
*\ pitch talk for 1st year PhD students*: if you do not dare to give a full
presentation, or if you have been working on your topic for just a few
months and you do not have results to show, we have the stream for you! We
would like to invite you to present your on-going work in a 5 minutes talk.
*\ Operations Research meets Machine Learning and Data Science: *we foster
the integration among different branches of Applied Mathematics. In
particular, we want to explore the similarities and possible synergies
between Optimization, Machine Learning and Data Science. To this aim, we
will have an invited speaker talking about Optimization and Data Science,
and there will be a special session dedicated to Machine Learning and Data
Science.

If you want to present in these special streams, please include your
desired session in the abstract submission.

and social networks. Keep in touch!
