[DMANET] Postdoc positions in Foundations of Data Science at KTH Stockholm

We are looking for 1-3 postdoctoral researchers in the broad area of foundations of data science. Topics of interest include but are not limited to models and algorithms for knowledge discovery, novel methods for big data management, analysis of information networks and social networks, fairness, accountability, and transparency in learning systems. Applicants must have a strong interest in the development of the underlying theory, applications, and methods to distill knowledge from large complex datasets.

The advertised positions are funded by Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), Sweden's largest individual research program, and by the European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant REBOUND, which aims to study the phenomena of polarization and echo chambers in online media, and develop methods to mitigate these phenomena. Funding is also provided by the H2020 European project SoBigData++.

Successful candidates are expected to hold a PhD degree from a reputed institution. They are expected to have vision, ambition, and passion for research, and a strong publication track record in top conferences and journals in data science, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence. They should be eager to co-supervise PhD and MS student projects.
