[DMANET] Open Call: [Algorithms, MDPI] Special Issue on Algorithms in Computational Biology

We are pleased to announce the launch of new Special Issue dedicated to
"Algorithms in Computational
Biology"(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/algorithms/special_issues/computational-biology)
in the journal Algorithms, an *EI-*, *ESCI-*, and *Scopus-indexed* open
access journal.

The aim of this Special Issue is to present state-of-the-art algorithmic
innovations that allow facing the computational bottlenecks of -omics
data analysis. This includes a variety of methods, such as discrete
algorithms on sequences, trees and graphs, data structures and
compressed data structures, parallel computing, combinatorial and
sampling approaches, heuristics and parameterized algorithms, data
mining, and machine learning techniques.

The submission deadline is 31 March 2021. Papers will be published on
an ongoing basis, so you can submit your paper at any point before the
deadline. For any questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Alina Chen
(alina.chen@mdpi.com).

Algorithms (ISSN 1999-4893) is a peer-reviewed open access journal which
provides an advanced forum for studies related to algorithms and their
applications, and is Open Access since 2008, and is since then rising
steadily in the ranks
(https://www.journalindicators.com/indicators/journal/21100199795). It
is ranking Q2 in the category "Computer Science, Theory & Methods", and
it has received it's increased 2020 CiteScore 2.20, and CiteScoreTracker
2020 is 2.70 now (https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100199795).

We look forward to receiving your submission.
