SPECIES, the Society for the Promotion of Evolutionary Computation in Europe and its Surroundings, is proud to announce the 2nd round of SPECIES scholarships. This time the scheme will be open to both PhD students and recent graduates, who have graduated in the 24 months prior to the submission deadline, i.e., after April 30 2019.

The recipients of the scholarships will receive an allowance of 900 euros per month to cover accommodation and living expenses to spend three months at a hosting institution, working under the supervision of an advisor.

The host institution may provide funds to cover up to three additional months, and any other advantage they wish to offer (e.g., travel funds).

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on merit by a committee designated by the SPECIES Executive Board and matched with host institutions following preferences indicated by both sides (at most one student per host institution).
