[DMANET] PhD position on Algorithmic inference through the lens of sampling and optimization

Dear colleagues,

A PhD position is available at Inria Paris on the topic
"Algorithmic inference through the lens of sampling and
optimization for convex sets". The subject lies at the
intersection of optimization, high-dimensional geometry,
and computational statistics with a focus on new algorithms
and implementations for algorithmic inference,
high-dimensional sampling, integration and convex optimization.

The successful candidate will be a member the Ouragan team,
a joint team between between Inria Paris and Sorbonne University.

The deadline for applications is 28 May 2021
and the starting date is on October 2021.

Further details about the research project are available at:
https://who.paris.inria.fr/Elias.Tsigaridas/phd-geomscale.html

Informal inquiries are strongly encouraged and the interested candidates
can contact me for additional information.

With best regards,
