[DMANET] One PhD Position in Probabilistic Combinatorics at TU Graz, Austria

One PhD Position in Probabilistic Combinatorics is available at TU Graz,
Austria.


A successful candidate will pursue their PhD degree within the FWF
funded Doctoral Program 'Discrete Mathematics' under the supervision of
Univ.-Prof. Mihyun Kang. Research topics include random graphs, random
graphs on surfaces, random hypergraphs, random simplicial complexes, and
random subgraphs.

The position is up to 3 years, and the preferred starting date is 1
March 2022. The salary is according to the standard personnel costs and
salaries for FWF projects, and the current gross salary per month is
2,237.60 Euros (14 times a year). There is additional funding for
participating in conferences.


Qualifications and condition of employment:
- Strong track record of mathematical studies
- Master's degree in mathematics or theoretical computer science
