This year, WINE introduces several new initiatives:
*
Rebuttal phase: The review process will include a rebuttal phase in late August, giving authors the opportunity to address questions and concerns raised by the Program Committee. This approach, adopted by related conferences such as EC and major AI venues, aims to improve the overall quality of the review process.
*
Outstanding Paper Awards: In recognition of the growing number of high-quality submissions to WINE in recent years, besides the Best Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award, 3 to 5 additional papers will be selected for Outstanding Paper Awards, representing roughly the top 10% of accepted papers.
*
Simultaneous submissions at FOCS: Authors with submissions under review at FOCS 2025 may simultaneously submit the same work to WINE 2025. However, if a submission is accepted to FOCS 2025, the authors must promptly withdraw the corresponding submission from WINE 2025.
