IPDPS 2026 Workshops

The 40th IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing
Symposium (IPDPS 2026) will be held in New Orleans, USA, from May 25 to
May 29, 2026. As part of the conference program, IPDPS 2026 will hosta
rich set of eighteenworkshopson May 25–26, 2026, along with multiple
opportunities for industry–research engagement throughout the conference.

IPDPS workshops provide focused forums for presenting and discussing
emerging research ideas, preliminary results, and application-driven
work in all areas of parallel and distributed processing. In parallel,
IPDPS offers structured mechanisms to strengthen collaboration between
industry practitioners and academic researchers, fostering the exchange
of real-world challenges, solutions, and future research directions.

Submissions and Participation

We invite researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to
submit their work, participate in workshops, and engage with the IPDPS
2026 community in New Orleans.

Each workshop maintains its own scope, submission guidelines, and
important dates. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshops and
included in the workshop proceedings, which will be submitted for
inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Industry–Research Participation

IPDPS 2026 offers structured opportunities for industry partners to
engage directly with the global parallel and distributed computing
community. The symposium attracts researchers, practitioners, and
technical leaders from academia, national laboratories, and industry,
making it an effective platform for technical visibility, collaboration,
and talent engagement.

Industry participation can be tailored to align with organizational
goals—including showcasing innovations, networking with leading
researchers, recruiting PhD talent, and influencing emerging research
directions. Engagement mechanisms include exhibits, technical sessions,
tutorials, workshops, and student-focused activities throughout the
conference.

Benefits of Industry Participation

*

Access to a concentrated community of experts and decision-makers in
parallel and distributed systems.

*

Multiple channels for technical interaction and brand visibility
across the five-day symposium.

*

Direct engagement with students and emerging talent through
dedicated programs, including the PhD Forum.

*

Extended reach through proceedings published in the IEEE Digital
Library.
