WAVE 2026 We are excited to announce the upcoming WAVE workshop (Women in Algorithms, Venture into Exploration), which will be held at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, on Friday, September 11th, 2026. The workshop will feature both technical talks and a panel discussion focused on Theoretical Computer Science (TCS). Additionally, this year we are also including a student-led poster session to provide opportunities for participants to share their work and receive feedback in a supportive environment. We have invited some amazing speakers and panelists to join us. Participants of all genders are equally encouraged to attend, as all topics discussed will be relevant to everyone in the field. Our panel will feature both female and male panelists who will reflect on the importance of collective efforts across the community in addressing and navigating different challenges. The WAVE Workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to meet great people working in TCS. Registration is free but mandatory. You can find more details about the event on the WAVE website: https://wave-workshop.github.io/ We are really looking forward to meeting you at WAVE 2026! Please feel free to reach out to us (anyone of the organizers) if you have questions or queries about the event. If you are a PhD student (of any gender) please consider making a poster presentation! On behalf of the Organising Committee of WAVE 2026. ********************************************************** * * Contributions to be spread via DMANET are submitted to * * DMANET@zpr.uni-koeln.de * * Replies to a message carried on DMANET should NOT be * addressed to DMANET but to the original sender.
